Restaurant im Forellenhof Poggel in Eslohe

Second stay at the Forellenhof and it was again a perfect stay. Clean carpenters, very good food and very friendly staff. The state regulations on the pandemic were also fully met. It's a shame that such companies have to go back into lockdown.

If trout, then Poggel !? Be sure to visit the watercourse at the house. There are sturgeons and lively trout. Restaurant rustic. The dining room is friendly and bright. The problem is the 450 euro service staff. Otherwise there would be 5 stars.

The trout cream soup is just divine. And the other dishes are also highly recommended. Price-performance ratio is great

Great hotel. The food is delicious and the rooms are clean the breakfast is good. Everyone is very nice. You can stay overnight by bike, there is an extra room to lock it up. All around a successful excursion.

Enjoyed delicious lunch. My table companion had a flammkuche, which is a brittle puff pastry base topped with cheese, tomato and various spices, and I had a cordon blue. This was a tender piece of meat with generous cheese and ham in between, accompanied by French fries. Finally, a good and generous cup of coffee.

We had an overnight stay on the occasion of our Sauerland Radring Tour. The Cordon Bleu is absolutely recommended, especially in combination with delicious Grevensteiner. The house / the furniture is a bit older, but does not spoil the holiday feeling. Very nice staff. Overall conclusion: at any time again and absolutely to be recommended.
